When you register you will receive an email with your Basic Life Support e-book.  Please follow the directions to download the e-book.  You can review the material before the class and you can use the e-book during testing. 

The Basic Life Support Classroom (BLS) course for healthcare providers is designed to provide a wide variety of healthcare professionals with the ability to recognize various life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED, and recover from choking. a safe and effective way.

This course is for healthcare professionals who need to know how to perform CPR, as well as other life-saving skills, in a wide variety of settings inside and outside the hospital. The American Heart Association BLS Course Completion Card for Healthcare Providers is valid for 2 years.

In the classroom, students participate in simulated clinical settings and learning stations. Students work with an AHA BLS instructor to complete the BLS skills practice and skills tests. Students also complete a written exam. AHA manual is provided,
